Hello! This is Respect Plastic Surgery.
The forehead is one of the key areas that determine the first impression of a face.
While both surgeries aim to improve the forehead line, they differ in purpose and method.
1. How is Forehead Reduction Performed?

Forehead reduction is a surgery designed to reduce a wide forehead and create a balanced facial proportion.
- Incisional Forehead Reduction: An incision is made along the hairline, and the scalp is pulled forward to reduce the length of the forehead.
While it can significantly reduce the forehead in one go, the amount of reduction may be limited by the elasticity of the scalp. - Non-Incisional Method (Hair Transplant): This involves designing a new hairline further forward through hair transplantation to make the forehead appear narrower.
It has the advantage of having almost no incisions, but costs can increase if a large number of follicles are required.
Our Special "Implant Forehead Reduction"

At our clinic, we perform the "Implant Forehead Reduction," which combines the strengths of both incisional reduction and hair transplantation.
- Natural Hairline: It reduces the basic forehead length via incision while simultaneously transplanting hair along the front hairline to create a more natural finish.
- No Posterior Scarring: Unlike typical hair transplants that harvest follicles by incising the back of the head (occipital region), we harvest what is needed from near the front hairline.
- Minimized Damage: This prevents scarring on the back of the head, minimizes damage to the occipital area, and allows for more delicate hairline adjustments.
2. How is a Forehead Lift Performed?
A forehead lift is a lifting surgery that raises a sagging forehead and drooping eyebrows.
-Effect: This procedure improves sagging to create clearer eyes and a more youthful appearance.
-Method: An incision is typically made along the hairline or inside the scalp to pull and fix the sagging forehead tissue upward.
3. Recommended Candidates
Forehead Reduction Forehead Lift Wide forehead making the face look long Drooping eyebrows/forehead causing a tired look Receding or high hairline Deep forehead wrinkles Seeking more balanced facial proportions Using forehead muscles heavily to open eyes

| Forehead Reduction | Forehead Lift |
| Wide forehead making the face look long | Drooping eyebrows/forehead causing a tired look |
| Receding or high hairline | Deep forehead wrinkles |
| Seeking more balanced facial proportions | Using forehead muscles heavily to open eyes |
4. Recovery Period
While individual recovery varies, the general process is as follows:
5. Benefits of Combining Both Procedures
-Simultaneous Improvement: Addresses both forehead length and sagging at once.
-Synergy: Achieves both facial proportion correction and a lifting effect.
-Efficiency: Solves two problems with a single surgery and one recovery period.
6. Actual Patient Case
While forehead reduction and forehead lift surgery have different primary objectives, both play a critical role in improving facial proportions and overall impression
